Do Penguins ever get cold feet
as they dance upon the ice
And wonder to themselves
Slippers would certainly be nice.
Or maybe they think about a pair of ice skates
so they could twirl and twist and jump over a stick
but maybe that’s why they don’t have skates in the first place
to keep them all from circling around and eventually all getting sick
So do penguins ever get cold feet then
after all to them ice is their hardwood floor
and it’s not like they can get warm and move to carpet
because everywhere they look, there’s just ice and ice and more.

as they dance and stand upon the ground so cold
I don’t know if we’ll ever know..but one things for sure
of all the animals, the penguin is certainly most bold..
for standing on the ice.
